“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine as children do. It’s not just in some of us; it is in everyone. And as we let our own lights shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.” – Marianne Williamson
I don’t mean any disrespect when i say that i don’t care about others. Friends, family, work colleagues. I don’t do the things I do so that I can get a pat on the back from them. I care more about me then what I care about what others think of me, I have made my own standards, values and goals. When you have others surrounding you they can either be there to help or hinder you. When people are around you, you subconsciously compare yourself with these people and either out of shame or feeling judged or not wanting to stand out from the crowd you can hold yourself back from achieving your 100%.
If there is one mistake you could make, it would be not aligning your own values with your dreams. When your own value system says that you believe in sleep more than you want to succeed then you will never be successful but when you want to be successful more than you want to breathe, then you will be successful.. When you are a consumer and not a producer or that you are spending more money than you are making that is when you need to tell you, Not Right Now. Don’t let yourself be sidetracked, do not let yourself become aware of the others, do not let yourself become more focused on what others are doing that you forget about what you are doing, what your goals, values and ideals are.
Waking up with the concept of, you have 24 hours, these hours are mine and what i do with these 24 hours will determine where i will be tomorrow, will start to eliminate those small doubts you have that are stopping you from achieving your success. When you wake up in the morning and you feel great, had plenty of sleep, feeling like taking on the world, those are the days anyone can achieve their goals. But when its raining, you’re tired and you don’t feel good or doing anything right now, those are the days where you have to separate yourself from mediocrity or the other people. How you start your day is how you start your life and day by day when you are consistent doing the same thing over and over to lead to growth, this will change everything about your life.
Grind it out, reap what you sow. When your grind it out for 5 to 6 days a week for months or years at a time, something has got to come out of that. People are too focused on the bigger picture, they want that new car now, that new job now, that promotion now. Ask yourself, what is my goal, what do i need to accomplish this day to live this lifestyle and you go after it, then more people will become successful. When you set yourself smaller goals, daily, weekly or monthly, these goals are more obtainable then you saying to yourself in 5 years time i’m going to be this, have that, or own this.
